DHEA is an important hormone made by your adrenal glands. It’s your most abundant adrenal steroid hormone. DHEA levels peak around age 25, then start to decline.
After DHEA is made by the adrenals, it travels into cells throughout the body, where it’s needed to convert into adrogens, estrogens, and other hormones. These hormones regulate endocrine and reproductive function, and energy levels.
DHEA supplementation can support emotional well-being and immune function.
As a dietary supplement, take 1 capsule daily, with a meal.
