I purchased a smaller pot of this product a couple of months back from a chain pharmacy store reluctantly, as I've spent literally THOUSANDS in my time trying find the right product for me. Buying a larger tub isn't possible in UK stores so having this size available on Amazon is far more cost effective (a tub half this size typically retails around £13 at various shops I've seen it stocked). I have European hair but is very coarse, thick and exceptionally curly/frizzy. Also a bit damaged by bleach and 40 + years of abuse! I've tried almost everything on the market (at varying price points) for European and Afro hair types, but was always left disappointed with either a dried up frizzy mess or an oily catastrophe. This actually works...it defines and separates curls without heavy residue, which is unexpected given how thick and creamy the consistency is. I think my hair literally drinks the stuff, so I do get through a fair bit but my hair is quite long (halfway down my back). It doesn't give me any shine, but I can live with that. Finally I can still wear my hair down day 2 after washing. In the past I had to tie hair back after day 1 but with this product, day 2 hair still looks relatively good with a little bit extra product through the ends. Good stuff. Smells lovely. And works...praise GOD! Came in good quality. Size is great, Package and use. Doesnt leave my skin dry or sensitive very gentle feel on the skin. I dont know about the benefits but scent really nice composition texture is light

This product is very good for people who want to enhance their curls or want to make their hair wavy. The scent is very sweet and rather feminine, which I don't really like (other products from SheaMoisture are more unsisex). The quality of the product is very good and the ratings of the contents are not perfect but good. I always use it after washing my hair for styling. It also leaves your hair decently moisturized. While it may not be the perfect choice for super sensitive scalps it is perfect for damaged curls or enhencement of moisturized, defined curls.

I have a very unruly frizzy 2B wavy curly hair, and live in a humid area which makes it hard to keep it in check. I have used many expensive hair products to tame the frizz and give it a nice curl, however most tend to fail. This product has been quite great and benefits my hair, only downside is I must use it on wet hair and sometimes it tends to be more concentrated on one side, but it doesn't give too much of the "crunchy" look or feel greasy. It doesn't have a strong scent either. I dont use it everyday, just the days I want to wear hair down naturally. It's a great size and a great price and great quality. Really happy this is offered so I could use it as a tester instead of committing to a full jar right away. Definitely see myself repurchasing in future.
