I gave this product five stars because its good quality and powerful. It's strong actually too strong for me even when I use only a half of teaspoon. My system is sensitive I normally take the tablets, actually one tablet and that works for me. I will be giving this to a friend who's system can handle it.

Have been using Spirulina powder from NOW for about a week. Using it to help with a good all round plant based diet and help with detoxing out heavy metals. So far so good. Mix 1 tsp with Chlorella powder from NOW and fruit juice, mix well and down the hatch. No issues. I will buy again. Good benefits from Spirulina, try it!
Great product although its really hard to get this into ANYTHING let alone gulp it down. You'd have to use a blender or put some muscle into blending this in water. It tasted bitter. So maybe add it to a smoothie or something. Took ages to finish this. I would have to look at a smaller pack next time.
I was very enthusiastic to take spirulina regularly but then I read that it may be contaminated with heavy metals and bacteria and you can never be sure. I trust the brand NOW but am not very sure about spirulina products anymore. Also, this is probably too big and it gets oxidised easily after a few months. Better to buy smaller products.
A great product. I use in my morning ‘power drink’ plus add a small sprinkle on my elderly dog’s meat every couple of days.
Love spirulina. such a great supplement with so many benefits. so much antioxidants. would use it in the mornings, a lot of the time as a smoothie with banana and berries or mango. NOW's stuff is just great.

I decided to try it in a powder form. But in my new order I have it in a different form, so I'm gonna test the effect and renew my review.
