Very clean and pure zinc supplement. You can try the zinc taste test with this because it is just zinc sulfate in purified water! Put a dose of this in plain water- if you can taste it you have good zinc levels, if it taste like water you need to up your zinc. This is a very general, but good, benchmark test. If curious about your levels, opt for a hair mineral analysis test rather than blood or spit.
Even though in the last couple of years if was recommended to supplement zinc I do not agree with it unless you also consume copper. If you supplement zinc without copper (and we are mostly deficient in copper) you create a bigger deficiency as these two are antagonists. But if you have allergies or do not sleep well and supplement with copper, this is ideal. It doesn't contain any fillers or additives (which pill forms do) so this is great. I add it to my smoothies. Recommended
This is one of the best liquid Zinc supplements I have found. Such a good prevention from getting sick and just adding that extra support for our body. I have a hard time swallowing pills so this is my to go Zinc supplement. Taste is neutral which I love so no problem dropping it right into your mouth. :)
I recently purchased this product due to a recent onset aphthous ulcers or mouth sores along the gum line. My research suggested this sudden onset may be due to a zinc deficiency. The research also suggested that taking zinc sulfate could help. As a result, I wanted to find a pure source of Zinc sulfate in a form that would be efficiently absorbed. That led me to try this product. I started taking the equivalent of 15 mg (2 doses, one dose is 7.5 mg) and by the end of the seek the mouth sores had cleared. Will continue to keep using this product.
i usually drop 2 dropper fulls in the mouth (every morning) with empty stomach (if not used to the taste, can add it to your water to dilute the taste). I also use it to apply my cracked lips for faster healing. whenever i have swollen gum, i would soak cotton with it and place it on the swell till it subside. this is so useful.
The best form of zinc (zinc sulphate) I have ever taken. I take one dropper full first thing in the morning on an empty stomach which I also take with two droppers of selenium both tasteless in a small glass of water. After doing this, I wait for thirty minutes before I consume anything. The condition of my hair has improved and my nails are so super strong. I highly recommend this product for immune support.
Quality product.After using it for a week, you can feel the energy recovery. Sleep is better. Continuous use of the product is good for health. The eyesight has improved, it is no longer blurry from fatigue. The hair is stronger, the heart beats more calmly. The composition of the product seems to be what was promised.
This is my 3rd bottle of Silica. It has helped my hair and nails so much. I see some negative reviews and how they used the dosage of 2 Doppler full, which is the wrong dosage! Explains why they maybe experiencing white bumps or negative side effects. The correct dosage suggested on the Silica bottle is 30 drops ( 2 Dropper SQUEEZES) NOT 2 Droppers full! To get the full 30 drops you can count each drop, or make sure the Doppler is full and with 2 full SQUEEZES you get about 30 drops. Added a picture of suggested dosage for reference.
A friend had recommended this product to aid in digestion. After trying it out I do get any more uneasy feeling after dinner. Dosage that I take is two droppers in about 1/2 cup of water before food. I have come to understand that as we age we need this ingredient zinc. It is well packaged too.
Zinc Sulfate is a highly absorbable form of zinc. It is thought to not cause copper deficiency even if consumed in (reasonably) high doses, unlike other forms of zinc. Eidon Zinc Sulfate comes with no fillers or additives, which is another plus. Zinc Sulfate is also supposedly helpful in measuring your zinc levels by yourself. If you swish it in your mouth and feel a strong metallic taste, you are probably not deficient. If you feel a milder taste, you are borderline deficient and if you feel no taste at all, you are severely deficient. Of course, nobody can tell for sure if this is an accurate test. A blood test to measure your zinc levels is likely more accurate, but it's not cheap. Also bear in mind that zinc is supposed to be an iron antagonist, in other words it competes with iron for intestinal absorption if they are taken simultaneously.
