I love coconut. It is such a beneficial nut. But I have to cut saturated fat wherever I can. This reduced fat shredded coconut lets me include coconut in my diet again. It tastes really good -- not as strong a flavor as full-fat coconut, but still good. I can use it in all my recipes that call for shredded coconut. I highly recommend it.
This is good quality coconut that keeps its taste and doesn’t have an old taste which some coconut can develop. The ingredients are only coconut. I use it in both sweet and savory recipes. The package size is pretty good too. One thing to keep in mind is that it is very dry.

I was pleasantly surprised with the fragrance and freshness of this product. I poured a glass of water into the blender with several scoops of the coconut and got creamy coconut milk. Delicious! Love this organic, reduced fat, unsweetened coconut. Has been a repeat purchase for a long time.You still get some of the healthy coconut fat and it's fiber but lower in overall fat and calories. Try it in yogurt for additional fiber and nutrients!
