It kind of has a nutty smell. My kids said more like a bit like anise. I had hoped it would smell like coconut. It is a very nice soap though and if you are okay it smells nutty then you will probably enjoy it. It smells a worlds better than all the dumb pars that claim they are all natural but say fragrance at the last line and douse with cheap perfume. Perfumes make me sick and I was glad this bar doesn't make my head hurt.

This soap is very good quality and size for its price. It makes my skin feel soft and smooth, feels creamy when you use it. The smell is great - very natural sweet and creamy coconut scent. I love all the different desert essence soaps. I think ive tried them all and this is my favorite. Can recommend it!

I've tried several of the Desert Essence soaps and like them for their creaminess and generally more natural ingredients. This one is creamy coconut and while it has the creaminess I like, I also like a good coconut fragrance. This one doesn't have that. If you want the strong coconut scent other choices are better. If you want a good quality soap made from good ingredients this is the soap to try. I like it and use it happily, but I also love the smell of coconut and am missing that.

Nice creamy soap with a very gentle and light coconut-y scent. If you're someone who is sensitive to smells it might be something good to try if you want to risk it. Package is paper so no plastic waste! My skin has been quite dry lately and this soap doesn't seem to be as harsh/drying as some others are.

Was looking forward to getting this soap as I have used the Shampoo and conditioner often... Sadly the scent is not strong and really has no residual smell left on your skin... It is good that it is gentle on the skin, but would be better if the smell was stronger.....

Great soap. Pleasant aroma rinses off completely and doesn't linger at all. Does not exacerbate dry skin. Eco-harvested ingredients. Worth stocking up on when there's a good discount.

It is very foamy when you use it. The scent is light and nice. Your skin becomes hydrated use after use. A nice soap to use in your daily routine.

good size to use in the shower or sink. Mild gentle soup is soothing to sensitive skin. There is only a very faint aroma from coconut

I've been buying these bars of soap for some time now. This one has a great coconut scent and lasts for much longer than other brands.
